Hashtags! #tag your posts

Another highly requested feature, hashtags, have arrived!

You can tag your posts with any keywords to help you and others find posts about a subject or theme.

Adding a hashtag is easy -- goto the "Create post" page and at the bottom, you'll find a place to add 1 or more tags for your posts. You can just tap the pre-set tags we've added or type in your own tags separated by commas.

You and your site's visitors can see the tags for a post below the post and click a tag to see other posts sharing the same tag.

You can also edit your existing posts to add tags to them. Here's a sample tag page for #cats.

A tag listing/tag-cloud page will be added in the near future.

Introduction post

Hi, my names ArtsyCosmicDreamer. I'm an artist, and am into indepth blogging, posting art, videos, comics, and animations. I'm also into making reviews and analysis. I also have an account on the site https://www.pillowfort.social/ where I am known as "ArtisticallyCosmatic" which is my main professional blog. I want to try Loforo both because 1. Pillowfort being down is driving me nuts at this point, as much as I know it is fully neccessary from a security perspective 2. Because I really want to blog in a nice, neat microblog like format that I feel Loforo provides. My only dislike of Loforo thus far is that it didn't exist earlier. It seems like the kind of microblog like site I have wanted for ages. Pillowfort is good, but it's more of a social media blogging hybrid than an actual microblog..Of course, Tumblr still exists and isn't going away anytime soon, but I've never fully liked Tumblr, both due to the culture the site produces at times and the problems it has. Loforo also has a nice and responsive staff that actually do fix bugs unlike Tumblr. Either way, I'm going to try to update this blog as often as I can. Hopefully everyone likes what they can find from me! Read More »
